What is Chair Massage?
Chair or on-site seated massage, as it is
often called, is massage preformed while you sit in a specially designed,
extremely comfortable, padded massage chair.
You are fully clothed and the massage can
vary in length from 10 minutes to 30 minutes with the average being about
15 minutes per person.
The chair is extremely comfortable and you are
suspended in almost a floating type of position. Our chairs are fully
adjustable and accommodate weights up to 350lbs.
-
first of all relax the client,
-
de-stressing and relieving general muscular tension, and then to
rejuvenate and re-vitalize,

ready to go back to work.

Our Style
Our style of seated massage is based on acupressure
from Japanese and Chinese teachings. It uses pressure points to relieve
blocked energy thus restoring vital Ki or Chi (energy) to the muscles and
nervous system for proper functioning.
There is also some gentle stretching techniques &
compression techniques borrowed from sports massage, and some
deep tissue
& Swedish bodywork in our method of chair massage.
